ITA  Il recupero del Rifugio Amelia nasce dalla volontà di rendere nuovamente fruibile e a disposizione della comunità l'ex rifugio forestale sito in località Amelia nel Comune di Amato. Il fabbricato, realizzato nei primi anni ’50 come sede del corpo forestale locale, è situato all’interno di un’area boschiva caratterizzata dalla presenza di alberi di cerro, tra le più vaste e ben conservate dell’hinterland. L'intervento prevede una ristrutturazione completa degli interni sia per quanto riguarda la distribuzione degli spazi che tutte le componenti impiantistiche. Oltre agli interventi previsti sul fabbricato, il progetto comprende anche la sistemazione degli spazi esterni limitrofi al fine di migliorarne la fruibilità. 

ENG  The restoration of Rifugio Amelia stems from the desire to make the former forest shelter, located in the Amelia area within the Municipality of Amato, once again accessible and available to the community. The building, constructed in the early 1950s as the headquarters of the local forestry corps, is situated within a wooded area featuring a well-preserved stand of Turkey oaks—one of the largest and best-maintained in the surrounding region. The project involves a complete renovation of the interior spaces, including both the layout and all system components. In addition to the work on the building itself, the project also includes improvements to the surrounding outdoor areas to enhance their accessibility and usability.
